Enjoy Iceland in the wintertime with this special 6 day / 5 night package.
 
 
Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival / pre night and overnight in Reykjavik.

Transfer from Keflavik Airport to your hotel (not included, we recommend our Airport Express Shuttle service. See www.airportexpress.is).

Day 2: Geysir geothermal area

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning at 08:15-09:00 am. Please be ready in the lobby. Start the day by driving to Þingvellir National Park, where the ancient parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland's largest lake. Continue through the farmlands to the thermal area of the great Geysir and Strokkur spouting hot springs. Last but not least visit Gullfoss, known as the "Golden Waterfall". Dinner in Flúdir village.

Day 3: Waterfalls and black sand beaches

Drive along the south shore, passing various places of beauty and interest, such as Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and the black glacialoutwash sands. An interesting stop will be made at Skógar, with its beautiful collection of old turf farms and buildings that have been restored to its original state. Onwards to Reynisfjara beach, viewing the extraordinary rock formations and thundering waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner in the small village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Day 4: Skaftafell National Park and the glacial lagoon

Skaftafell National Park is one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty dominated by the glacier Vatnajökull, Europe's largest ice cap. Continue to Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon where you can enjoy a breathtaking sight of floating icebergs on the fantastic 180m deep glacial lagoon. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Canyon and the Blue Lagoon

Explore the magnificent Fjarðarárgljúfur canyon in the morning. Onwards to the impressive ice-wall of the Sólheimajökull glacier, that has created the stunning coastal line of the South. Then head to the Blue Lagoon for a refreshing dip in the warm, mineral-rich waters. Return to Reykjavík, where the evening is at your own leisure.
Accommodation in Reykjavík.     

Day 6: Departure

Transfer to Keflavik Airport (not included).
