Transfer Description:

Enjoy Skaftafell National Park at your own leisure.
 
This round trip non-guided transfer service takes you to Skaftafell National Park in the morning and back to Reykjavík in the evening.
 
We leave Reykjavík at 07:30 and reach Skaftafell at around noon. On the way we stop at a service station, which has a kiosk, a restaurant and restrooms. Where you have enough time (about 25 minutes) to use the facilities and/or buy refreshments.
 
Once you reach Skaftafell National Park you have many different possibilities to enjoy yourself. You can join a glacial hike or boat tour at the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón, which can both be purchased at the National Park or you can enjoy the National Park on your own. Maps of the area are available at the National Park.
 
The return bus leaves Skaftafell at 18:00 with arrival in Reykjavík around 23:00. On the way we stop at a service station, which has a kiosk, a restaurant and toilets. Here you have enough time (about 25 minutes) to go to the toilet and/or buy a snack or something to drink.

Meals and refreshments. You can bring a packed meal or buy something at the service stations we stop at on the way. There is also a shop in Skaftafell where you can buy sandwiches, snacks and drinks.

Up to 90 minutes prior to departure with a 5% online discount.
 
We also offer one way transfer tours to Skaftafell National Park for those who want to stay over night (or even several nights) at the National Park.

Excellent opportunity for day return to Skaftafell from Reykjavik in late spring/early summer - before scheduled bus services commence. A long journey - with a strategically placed comfort break - and a magnificent scenery which made it impossible to succumb to boredom.
